Raith seniors travelled north on the 12th May 2019 to take on a strong Aberdeen side minus several players due to injury.
Raith got the game off to a good start and pushed forward causing the Aberdeen defence several problems with Mark Anderson and Calum Watson guilty of missing several fantastic chances.
Raith took the lead after 20 mins when the cross came in from the right and Calum scrambled the ball home. Aberdeen pulled level shortly before half time when the Raith defence went to sleep as Aberdeen broke down the left, no one picked up the winger who had time to control the ball look up and play in a fantastic cross that was headed home passed Houston in goals who didnt stand a chance.

Aberdeen started bright and scored quicly in to the second have after a good move down the right and Houston was left no chance after the finish.
Raith pushed forward again and manager JIm Harvey beat 2 defenders before cutting back for Craig Mitchell to fire home the equaliser.
Raith struggled after that point losing several players to injury and finishing with 10 men due to this. Aberdeen pushed forward and scored their 3rd goal after they broke forward and the long ball beat the Raith defence and they fired home. Raith pushed forward with Jim Harvey picking the ball up deep in his own hald beating two players before being fouled just outside the box. He took the resulting free kick and the keeper pulled out a fine save to keep Aberdeen in the lead. The ball was played forward and Aberdeen broke clear and scored there 4th.
