Raith headed to Glasgow to take on Partick Thistle in what was their 3 games in 4 weeks the old legs were feeling tired and several players missing due to injury.

The match saw Lee McGovern make his debut at left back for Raith at a young age of 49.

Partick took an early lead against the run of play but Raith didn’t let this set them back as they continued to play some fantastic football.

Raith levelled after Watson headed down a corner from the right from Gemmel and Mitchell fired the half volley in from 12 yards for home.

Raith continued to push forwards and just like the previous game Raith broke the offside trap and Harvey raced through on goal and calmly slotted in to the bottom left corner.

Bang on half time a corner from the right that Raith failed to clear was fired home from 25 yards leaving the stand in keeper Dera grasping air.

Raith continued to push forward and once again found themselves 3-2 down after some poor defending.

Raith continued to push forward to try and get an equaliser and hit the bar and post but with a heavy schedule and the midday sun slowly began to run out of steam and Partick held on.
